11 The king of Assyria then deported the Israelites to Assyria and led them off to Halah, and the Habor, a river of Gozan, and the cities of the Medes. 12 This happened because they did not obey the Lord, their God, but violated his covenant; they did not obey nor do all that Moses, the servant of the Lord, commanded.(A)
Sennacherib and Hezekiah. 13 [a]In the fourteenth year of King Hezekiah, Sennacherib, king of Assyria,[b] attacked all the fortified cities of Judah and captured them.(B)
